This is an experiential immersion in SATYA—8 days of going with nature, based in the classical traditions of Kundalini Tantra, Yoga and Ayurveda.

SATYA Norway is founded upon the same cosmic laws that calibrate the human and the extrahuman instrument to reverberate pure expressions of consciousness.
SATYA Norway applies:
- Key principles of the cosmology, philosophy & science of Kundalini Tantra, Yoga & Ayurveda
- Classical methods for discerning your nature, body type & lifestyle
- Time honoured practices to self-regulate on elemental & cellular levels, such as asana, pranayama, mantra, puja
- Regimens for spiritual emergence grounded in daily & seasonal living
- Opportunities for rejuvenation of wonder, devotion & revelation
Umā is a rare gem in the field of spiritual teachers—having lived and earnt that which she teaches through her whole life. She has an extraordinary ability to see people and to take into consideration all of what it means to be a human—from the seemingly mundane things like sleeping, eating or moving, and all the way to the transcendental and mystical.
This grants her an unparallelled capacity as a guide on the path. In my personal experience, the combination of having a working system (SATYA) and a qualified teacher that can guide you is as rare as it is precious for taking a big leap in your personal evolution, and I recommend this program to anyone interested in sculpting a rich and meaningful life.”READ MORE >> Magnus Jonas Støre, Therapist, Norway
Traditional training
The topics covered in SATYA with Umā: Norway will depend on how much participants, individually and as a group body, are able to digest and assimilate (integrate) in the days we are practising together.
There is little formal curriculum for this course. Teachings will be delivered in the traditional way of oral transmission from teacher to student. Each student will naturally absorb and embody the knowledge for which s/he is ready.
Daily rhythm
Integrating our Ayurvedic studies, we will schedule learning and practice sessions around the times of day and evening that support our wellbeing and optimise our natural capacities.
Below is a basic chronology of what our days may look like, subject to change at the discretion of the course facilitators.
- Dinacharya (morning self-care rhythms)
- Sunrise sadhana
- Breakfast
- Satsang
- Main meal and break
- Satsang
- Light dinner
- Sunset sadhana
Additional practices may or may not include times of silence, group excursions, ceremonies and guest teachersʼ programs.
SATYA was a combination of Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra. A unique blend. I would add to that list: out-of-this-world psychotherapy. Umā understands shadow work, or seeing and working intensely into our human darkness.
This powerful mix can transport her students into alternate dimensions of reality. Hard to explain in words, or to anyone not present, but I have on numerous occasions time and space travelled with Umā.READ MORE >> Caryn—Australia, Mental Health Facilitator
Umā is a genius in her domain. No one understands, or teaches yoga like Uma. (And I have experienced some other very good yoga teachers around the world, but none come close to Umā’s teachings.)”

My first experience with Umā was a baptism of fire of sorts—19 women around the holy fire all night with Umā at the helm. She is strong and mature enough to let the magic unfold naturally and to let everyone feel comfortable to take up the space that they need, yet firm enough to hold the container and space. I learned a lot from her and her space and feel grateful to have sat in her presence.Stina—M.Phil.
