SATYA Norway: a one-week immersion
Sovereign Śakti-Svātantrya-
6-13 September 2026
Voss Mountain Lodge, Norway
Early registration ends on 6 July
If consciousness is inherently free, why does experience feel conditioned?
Every thought, word, and action expresses energy.
Not every thought, word, and action expresses freedom.
This apparent contradiction reveals the work.
Can freedom be lived as expression itself?
Svātantrya is the inherent sovereignty of consciousness-power to emerge, know, conceal, reveal, direct, and reabsorb experience according to its own nature.
Svātantrya
From Sanskrit:
sva — one’s own, inherent, intrinsic.
tantra — technology of liberation and expansion; a weave of principle and practice.
Svātantrya— the self-governing freedom of consciousness-power.
"My laughter is more present and real. My breathing has totally changed.
My diaphragm has released tension. And due to the deeper breathing it’s easier for me to both relax and sleep.
This work is so freeing on so many levels. I am so, so grateful.”
— Vivian Midttveit, Norway
Freedom in expression
Conditioned patterns obscure perception.
Conditioned speech disperses force.
Compulsion overrides discernment.
In freedom:
—pattern is discerned before compulsion
—expression is sourced in coherence
—action reflects conscious will
What we will explore
- Svātantrya as the inherent freedom of consciousness-power.
- Śakti as consciousness expressing its power.
- Recognition of pattern before compulsion.
- Speech, action, and relationship as expressions of consciousness-power.
- Icchā (will), jñāna (knowing), and kriyā (action) as one continuum.
- Mantra and kriyā for directing force and stabilising attention.
- Kuṇḍalinī Śakti as consciousness in dynamic potency: the directed force of manifestation, recognition, and reabsorption.
- Spanda and svātantrya as pulse and sovereignty within one continuum.
SATYA Synergy
The embodied recognition of consciousness-power reveals the synergy in SATYA between the metaphysics and mechanics of Tantra, Yoga, and Āyurveda.
Tantra reveals consciousness-power.
Yoga refines the capacity to conduct it.
Āyurveda stabilises the conditions through which it can be sustained.
"I am feeling youthful energy, as if I'm 18 years old again. I am feeling virility.
I dance smooth, I burst into song. I dance new moves because of the new capacity of my body.
I feel voluptuous. I feel so rich. Full up and brimming over.
Life is good, life is great.”
— Queen, England
citiḥ svatantrā viśvasiddhihetuḥ
— Pratyabhijñāhṛdayam 1, Kṣemarāja

"All the cloudiness is burning away. It's clearing. So I can see clearer now how important it is to be fully engaged in myself, to show up and be present, be true to my true nature.
Before coming here I was disengaged with my own process, stuck in a narrow bandwidth. Self-created stuckness, avoidance.
Now I’ve re-engaged to myself, to feeling alive and more empowered in myself, and to voicing that, to being not afraid to speak.”
— Luca Mezzofanti, Australia
