SATYA Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that joining a SATYA program is a meaningful commitment of time, energy and resources. It’s important to us to maintain a transparent, fair and sustainable policy in the event that you may wish to cancel your participation.

General Guidelines

  • All requests for cancellation or refund must be made in writing to info@satyatraining.com.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 business days of approval.
  • SATYA cannot be responsible for travel arrangements, accommodation costs or personal expenses outside of program fees.

In-Person Programs

(for example, immersions, Yātrā, Guided Panchakarma, other in-person events)

The first payment serves as a non-refundable deposit and secures your place in the program. Any additional payments follow the schedule below:

  • Up to 60 days before the start date: 75% refund (deposit excluded).
  • 30–59 days before: 50% refund (deposit excluded).
  • Less than 30 days before: No refund.
  • If SATYA cancels the event, participants receive a full refund of all fees paid (including deposit), or an option to transfer credit to a future program.

Online Programs, Courses, Sādhanās

(for example, Utmost Care, Integral Cleanse, Dīpāvalī Sādhanā)
  • Before the start date or access given: 75% refund (25% retained as administrative fee).
  • After access has been provided: No refunds once access to course content or live sessions has begun.
  • If SATYA cancels or postpones an online program, participants receive a full refund or an option to transfer credit to a future program.
  • Where possible, and at SATYA’s discretion, participants may request to transfer their payment to another SATYA program within 12 months.

Ongoing Monthly Programs

(for example, SATYA Sādhanā, Hanumān Chālīsā Sādhanā)
  • These programs are designed as ongoing commitments. We ask participants to honor the full period of commitment:
  • SATYA Sādhanā: minimum three-month commitment.
  • Hanumān Chālīsā Sādhanā: full twelve-month cycle.
  • Participants are billed monthly in advance.
  • Payments already made are non-refundable, as satsangs, resources, community access and progressive program elements have already been provided or made accessible.
  • For programs with a defined end (e.g., Hanumān Chālīsā Sādhanā), cancellation ends future payments but does not entitle the participant to a refund of previous months.
  • If SATYA cancels or significantly alters the program, participants will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused portion or an option to transfer credit to another SATYA program.
  • Where possible, and at SATYA’s discretion, participants may request to transfer their payment to another SATYA program within 12 months.

SATYA One-Year Foundation

  • The SATYA One-Year Foundation is a full 12-month commitment and integrated experiential program of online and in-person SATYA modules or trainings.
  • Participants are billed monthly, quarterly or as a full program payment (depending on enrolment choice).
  • Payments already made are non-refundable, as satsangs, resources, community access and progressive program elements have already been provided or made accessible.
  • If SATYA cancels or significantly alters any component of the paid program, participants will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused portion or an option to transfer credit to another SATYA program within 12 months.
  • If a participant cancels, any refund is considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the time elapsed, content received and other relevant factors. Any refund issued will be minus a prorated administrative fee of 25%.

Consultations & Private Programs

  • Private consultations with Umā (single sessions or longer programs) are considered professional services rather than courses.
  • Single consultations: Once your session time has been confirmed, your booking is held specifically for you. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice, and we will do our best to accommodate a new time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be considered used, as the time has been reserved and cannot be offered to another participant. Missed appointments cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
  • Consultation programs include private sessions, resources, and continued personal guidance via private messaging. Because preparation for your program begins when you register, payments are non-refundable.
  • If a participant needs to discontinue a consultation program for significant personal reasons, SATYA may consider a pro-rata refund at its discretion, minus an administrative fee.
  • If SATYA or Umā must cancel a session or program, participants will be offered either a refund for the affected portion or the option to reschedule.
