SATYA Norway
Haṭha Rahasya—the Inner Yoga of Sun and Moon
30 August to 6 September 2025
Sosætra Resort, Norway
The Arc of Light and the Descent into the Depth

SATYA Norway offers:
- Immersion in the yoga of Sun and Moon—practices for attuning to Nature’s luminaries in both cosmos and body.
- Guided rhythm through solar routines (structure, clarity, ascent) and lunar protocols (restoration, digestion, descent)
- Āsana, prāṇāyāma, kriyā and mantra—Haṭha Yoga in the Indian Tantric tradition*
- Homa (fire ceremony) to attune to ṛta (the innate rhythm and truth of reality), driven by mantra to dissolve obscurations, refine the inner instrument and uncoil the current of awakened speech (vāk)
- Stimulant-free environment to regenerate soma and replenish ojas—the subtle essences that nourish, protect and sustain systemic integrity
- Real-time oral transmission rooted in nondual Śaiva Tantra and Ayurvedic psychology
*Hatha Yoga at SATYA Norway follows the Indian Tantric tradition, so the approach might feel quite different from what you may experience in typical yoga studios or online classes. SATYA practices centre subtle energy, breath, and inner alignment—supporting elemental restoration rather than transcendence.
Priceless, timeless wonder is the best description I have for what it’s like to spend time in Umā’s presence. I experience her every thought, word and action as ‘keys that open doors to kingdoms’ I didn’t know existed and support me being myself in a way I did not know possible before meeting her. Just seven days of shared presence in SATYA Norway would be enough to fuel a lifetime of healthy, conscious, embodied action.”
Justin Torrico — Regenerative Designer, USA
Haṭha Rahasya
Ha moves as solar current, activating clarity and direction.
Ṭha streams as lunar current, restoring inner resources of nourishment and steadiness.
Rahasya is the essential mystery at the heart of solar-lunar integration.
Haṭha Rahasya—the inner yoga of sun and moon—does not end with our one-week immersion. When the practices continue, so does the refinement.
By attuning to these subtle circuits, the system harmonises solar and lunar activation across all seasons, stabilising seamless being—not only in the moment, but through time.

Solar energy
When sunlight touches your face, your being remembers its true orientation.
The symbolism is real, as is the physiological effect. The sun—both external and internal—activates clarity, digestion and inner timing.
This in turn:
- Reawakens citta — the memory system that stores impressions and conditions how perception arises
- Strengthens agni — the digestive fire that metabolises food, feelings and information
- Illuminates sattva — the inner clarity that restores orientation to what is real and allows wise discernment
- Revitalises the capacity to align with ṛta, a cosmic ordering principle, a law, a current, that informs every principle, particle and process of life and death
Lunar power
In rhythm with the moon, your being descends into cooling, nourishment and renewal.
The moon’s influence—external, internal—regulates fluids, soothes heat and supports tissue regeneration.
This in turn:
- Stabilises citta—reducing the reactivity of stored impressions, so perception becomes less distorted
- Cools agni—modulating the digestive fire to prevent depletion and support rebuilding
- Nourishes sattva—increasing inner steadiness, receptivity and calm reflection
- Supports access to soma and ojas—the regenerative essences that replenish tissues, maintain hydration, build resilience, preserve deep vitality and fortify immunity

The days following the SATYA immersion was like living a new life. Super aware of my surroundings and the sun–always in touch with when it shines, wherever I travel. My senses more clear–seeing better, aware of what I hear, smell and so on. I live in a stream of inspiration and strength.”
Erik Alexander Lynghaug, Norway
Rhythm: way of the day
Each day follows the natural cycle of light and dark—solar rise and lunar descent, wakefulness and rest.
The structure supports activation in the morning, digestion in the midday and restoration in the evening.
Sample daily rhythm:
- Dinacharya (morning Ayurvedic care)
- Sunrise pūjā or invocation
- Morning sādhanā: āsana, prāṇāyāma, kriyā
- Midday teachings / satsang
- Rest / seasonal activity
- Evening descent: mantra, moon practice, or fire
- Early sleep protocol
Additional practices may or may not include times of silence, group excursions, ceremonies and guest teachersʼ programs.
Who this is for
This immersion is for those stepping into rhythm with Nature as a whole way of being.
- Aligning with what is natural and applying lived understanding with greater precision
- Anchoring in self-permission while adapting fluidly to what is timely and appropriate
- Expressing what is real for you—without depletion, distortion or performance
- Resting not to disconnect, but to restore function and readiness
- Recognising that renewal is already underway and meeting it with steadiness and integrity
This immersion functions as a living structure. The group forms with precision and intention.
Note: While the core circle enters together, select guests may be welcomed at designated times. This protects the continuity and depth of the work—while allowing for timely presence and exchange.
If you feel called to do work at this level and with such a teacher as Umā, then I think you couldn’t ask for more. It’s probably not a coincidence that you stumbled upon SATYA, and it will be of immense value because the things you’ll learn are the most valuable things—namely, the things you already know!
It’s connecting you to you. It’s knowledge being provoked and woken from the inside. Instead of you just receiving knowledge from outside, it’s arising from within through how Umā facilitates the training.”
