SATYA One-Year Foundation
The Core Discipline of Functional Presence
12 months of experiential training—in which perception, expression and capacity are refined through integrated practice
This discipline stabilises inner alignment, so daily function reflects the rhythmic, luminous and whole nature of essential being.
Begins 30 August 2025
with the SATYA Norway immersion
svalakṣaṇa dhāraṇāt dharmaḥ
Dharma is the sustained resonance with one’s intrinsic nature.
In SATYA, following dharma means living in accord with one’s original nature—being true to what is real.
In SATYA, fulfilment arises through restored function.
This function emerges through disciplined alignment and restored structural integrity.
Peak experiences may emerge; yet what endures is the reorganisation of what already exists, where sensing, discerning and interacting operate as one seamless, responsive field.
This is svasthya: the dynamic equilibrium of being centred in one’s inner nature.

The SATYA One-Year Foundation includes all modules of the SATYA core curriculum:

“Umā is a rare gem in the field of spiritual teachers—having lived and earnt that which she teaches through her whole life. She has an extraordinary ability to see people and to take into consideration all of what it means to be a human—from the seemingly mundane things like sleeping, eating or moving, and all the way to the transcendental and mystical.

Why Build a SATYA Foundation?
SATYA is the vital resurgence of your living system.
It is the calibrated current of functional presence.
It is the dynamic equilibrium that matures and endures—the configuration that aligns presence to reality and embodies truth in action.
This means, in lived terms, you may:
- Wake up with rhythm, not chaos
- Move in time aligned to perception, discernment & response
- Stay open to reality without confusion, collapse, or distortion
- Remain clear without outsourcing to trend, mood or external teaching
- Respond rather than react, because perception is internally configured
- Hold boundaries not as defence, but as functional intelligence
- Conserve energy—no leaking of time, speech or attention
- Resonate śakti without dissonance
- Uphold your dharma without distortion or abandonment
Structural integrity—living function
Structure, in SATYA, refers to the underlying configuration of the inner instrument—where manas (sensory mind), buddhi (discerning intelligence), citta (memory field) and ahaṃkāra (sense of individuality) operate as a unified, responsive system.
When structure is distorted, perception fragments.
When structure is trained, presence becomes functional.
In the SATYA One-Year Foundation, system-wide coherence develops through alignment with natural cycles—refining the system over time into readiness, capacity and the unified power to know, will and act.

"This 1-year SATYA immersion has really broken down any notion of preference. It has ushered in a meeting of the material and the spiritual, and making it clear to me where I was creating separation, that I could not see before. I'm just so much more integrated into my life here, where I am, than I was before, to a level that I didn't know was possible in my day-to-day.
There’s no aversion to what it means for me to be here, now. I’m at a level that is doing whatever it takes to fulfill ‘my karma is my dharma.’ I’m a full-on contractor now, which my mind a year ago would have said is so far from my spiritual path. But now it just is.
And my initial impetus to join was for support—the support to summon the will to be my healthiest self. I can say that I have taken that step—that it is happening, and I am more integrated than ever.”
